Riedel: the new intercom system Bolero 2.4 GHZ
Instead of Bolero’s standard DECT band, the new iteration of Bolero operates on the 2.4 GHz band, allowing customers in regions where DECT carrier frequencies are either limited or unavailable – such as China, India, and South Korea – to profit from the system’s versatility, reliability, and feature set in navigating difficult RF environments.
Sony: the new PTZ camera FR7
Sony has announced the FR7, an E-mount interchangeable lens camera with a built-in PTZ functionality. Its remote control and cinematic features open creative possibilities in studio, live production and filmmaking settings. The FR7 features a back-illuminated 35mm CMOS image sensor with approximately 10.3 effective megapixels and wide 15+ stop latitude.
Ross: the acquisition of Spidercam
Ross Video has agreed to terms to acquire Spidercam. Its system is suspended on four cables with winches that navigate a camera dolly in 3D space utilizing a stabilized head to provide HD or 4K video.
