PHABRIX, a leader in test & measurement, has announced that 7thSense, a global expert in media serving and pixel management technologies, has chosen two QxP portable waveform monitors for testing and verifying its ST 2110 solutions.

The QxP, inheriting features from the QxL, has a 3U multitouch LCD screen, supports 12G-SDI and 25G IP workflows, and offers analysis of UHD/4K formats.

7thSense uses the QxPs as default sources and receivers, ensuring compliance with ST 2110 network media specifications. The tools also validate the company’s PTP and media network compliance. Dr. Grounds adds, “Using multiple PHABRIX units, we ensure our media backbone’s stability, verify PTP synchronization, and conduct checks before deploying products. Their ability to assess the network boosts our confidence.”

The company has utilized the QxPs in significant projects, including creating a unique 12-bit 444 4096×2160 60p uncompressed video network media system. Dr. Grounds finds the QxPs’ ST 2110-21 analyzer panel invaluable, noting its intuitive nature and comprehensive data visualization.

He also praises the collaboration with PHABRIX, saying it has streamlined their testing processes. “Managing the bandwidths of these media streams is challenging. PHABRIX’s partnership has been crucial, and we anticipate more innovative projects.”
