Accedo, a global video solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Edit Kovács as Vice President for the EMEA and LatAm regions.

Kovács will report to CEO Martin Sebelius and lead teams across eight locations in Europe and Latin America. The company aims to enhance its customer service and expand its software offerings.

Extensive Experience in the Media Industry

Edit Kovács has more than 15 years of experience in technology and media, including leadership roles in product and service development across several sectors such as media, finance, and energy. Before joining Accedo, she served as CEO of InPlayer, where she led the company through its acquisition by JW Player. Kovács has also held key positions at Amazon Prime Video, Revolut, and Shell, where she contributed to improving user experience on a global scale.

New Leadership for Future Growth

Commenting on her new role, Kovács expressed her enthusiasm for joining Accedo, emphasizing the company’s strong industry presence and innovation. She noted her goal to help Accedo grow, particularly in the area of OTT managed services.
