Aragón Radio, the public broadcasting service of the Autonomous Community of Aragón, commenced regular programming in October 2005.
The station focuses on providing a public service, with a mission to deliver accurate, high-quality news, sports, and entertainment content. Its programs offer both national and international coverage.
Implementation of AEQ FORUM LITE Console
To enhance its outdoor broadcasts, Aragón Radio’s technical management has chosen the AEQ FORUM LITE digital console with 12 faders. This selection was based on the console’s operational ease, reliability, and sound quality. The system was recently used to cover the Día del Pilar event held in Zaragoza.
Key Features of AEQ FORUM IP Console
The AEQ FORUM IP console is designed for ONAIR broadcast control and includes key features such as automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signaling control, and external communication management. Its modular structure and compact size allow it to be adapted to different broadcasting environments, including self-control, TV production, and large installations.
The FORUM IP SPLIT version, equipped with the FR CORE modular engine, offers up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.
Integration of Netbox 4MH Interface
Aragón Radio’s project also includes the Netbox 4MH interface, which supports IP network integration via the Dante protocol. The interface is designed to handle high-quality microphone inputs and headphone outputs, making it suitable for radio studios, multimedia spaces, and TV sets.
Project Management
The implementation of the AEQ FORUM LITE console and Netbox 4MH interface was led by Aragón Radio’s technical manager, Mr. Juan Rocha. AEQ’s commercial management was overseen by Ms. Guadalupe López, while technical and configuration management was handled by Mr. Raúl Moreta.
