RADIO SIBERIA 107.8 FM, a municipal radio station based in Siruela, a town in the province of Badajoz (Extremadura), has been broadcasting for over 14 years.
The station’s name was chosen due to its significant influence in the La Siberia region, located in the northeast of the province. This is attributed to the strategic location of the low-power transmitter center and the absence of other emissions in the modulated frequency spectrum across the entire region.
Diverse Programming and Local Collaborators
The station runs a 24/7 programming schedule, with four hours of daily content produced in-house. Twelve collaborators from various specialties and occupations within the municipality contribute to a diverse range of programs, including nutrition, psychology, sports, and musicals, among others.
Recent Upgrades and Equipment Supply by AEQ
RADIO SIBERIA has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, including relocating its studios. AEQ provided all the necessary equipment to enhance audio broadcast performance. The central piece of the project is the CAPITOL IP digital mixer with an 8-channel fixed configuration. Additional equipment includes the AUDIOPLUS automation system, VENUS4 IP audiocodec, MERCURY audiocodec, and the TALENT ultra-compact audiocodec, which is used for broadcasting plenary sessions and other external events.
Comprehensive Audio Equipment and Engineering Support
Complementary audio equipment provided includes an FM tuner, CD player, multimedia, headphones, self-powered loudspeakers, microphones, pantographs, and table microphone stands configured for self-monitoring. AEQ also managed the engineering and supply of all cabling, ON AIR signaling accessories, and HB-02 headphone regulator microphone connection plates.
The upgrades ensure that RADIO SIBERIA 107.8 FM can continue to deliver high-quality broadcasts to its listeners in the La Siberia region.
