7TV, a regional public television station in Murcia, Spain, has been operated by Grupo Secuoya’s company CBM since its launch in 2006.

Known for its generalist programming, 7TV has seen record audience levels in recent years.

Upgrade to AEQ Intercom Panels

The station’s production center in Molina de Segura recently upgraded its existing AEQ Intercom system to the latest AEQ user panels. This transition was seamless due to the center’s prior system setup, enabling rapid installation and immediate use of AoIP (Audio over IP) connections.

Enhanced Audio Processing and Network Compatibility

The new AEQ panels are designed to meet high broadcast audio standards. With audio digitized and processed at 24 bits and 48 kHz, they offer a bandwidth from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ensuring minimal distortion and noise. Each panel is equipped with a redundant IP port to handle audio in DANTE format, compatible with the AES 67 standard. Additional features include digital processing to cancel acoustic echo and automatic leveling of operators’ voice output, ensuring clear and intelligible sound quality.
