Hayat TV, a private television channel in Bosnia, began its operations in 1992. Currently, it broadcasts five channels: Hayat HD / Hayat TV, Hayat PLUS, Hayat MUSIC, Hayat FOLK, and TV Hayatovci, which was the first channel in Bosnia specifically for children.
Hayat TV broadcasts via RF within the country and also reaches a global audience through satellite and IPTV platforms. The channel has a substantial viewer base, with over two million followers in Bosnia and more than 10 million globally. In 2002, Hayat TV received the prestigious ‘CNN World Report’ award, highlighting the quality of its work.
Technological Advancements
Hayat TV has consistently been at the forefront of technological advancements in the Bosnian television industry. It was the first channel in the country to have a verified account on Facebook. In 2015, it began native HD broadcasts and launched its own app to centralize all its programs for smart devices.
Recent Technical Renovations
As part of its ongoing technical upgrades, Hayat TV’s technical management decided to install a complete AEQ XPEAK intercom system for its main studio. The AEQ XPEAK intercom system uses virtual network technology and includes a wizard for automatic global interconnection, simplifying the process of creating the virtual network and configuring devices to work on it. This system allows different hardware or software user panels to be interconnected as if they were in the same physical production center, regardless of their location.
System Configuration and Capabilities
The AEQ XPEAK system requires no static IP, dynamic DNS, or port forwarding setup, as each user panel is automatically configured according to its local network. It operates seamlessly in all network environments, including very restrictive ones. A typical system might consist of several XPEAK devices operating at a single site, with additional remote devices at various locations. The on-site devices need an outgoing Internet connection to access the remote devices through a virtual network server in the cloud, enabling bi-directional audio routing to the remote panels.

The AEQ XPEAK family of intercoms includes rack-mountable user panels, desktop units, wireless handsets, wired belt- or body-packs, PC software licensed panels, and interface units for IFB sources and integration with third-party solutions or devices.
