Motion Impossible Launches AGITO Cine at BSC, Advances Film Tech

Motion Impossible is set to make a significant impact at this year’s BSC Expo with the introduction of the AGITO Cine, its latest and most advanced solution aimed at catering to the high demands of major film productions.

The AGITO Cine expands on the features of the original AGITO, offering a larger core, wider wheelbase, and higher ground clearance. This design ensures the device can carry heavier camera setups without sacrificing the agility and maneuverability that defined the original AGITO.

AGITO Cine: A New Era for Filmmakers

The AGITO Cine is making its first appearance in the UK market at the BSC Expo, marking a significant milestone from its initial prototype phase. Last year, the prototype was showcased to collect valuable feedback from industry professionals, which has now been incorporated into the final product. The AGITO Cine is available exclusively for rent through Camera Revolution in the UK and CineMoves in the US, a strategy that allows for ongoing real-world testing and feedback from filmmakers, ensuring its continuous evolution and relevance in professional settings.

Showcasing AGITO Gen 2 and Innovations in Motion Control

In addition to the AGITO Cine, Motion Impossible is also presenting the AGITO Gen 2, featuring enhancements such as improved steering actuators, quieter operation, expanded input/output functionality, increased power outputs, and advanced intelligence features. The showcase will demonstrate two AGITO Gen 2 dollies in MagTrax and Sports configurations, equipped with SHOTOVER G1 and Mini Libra remote heads. The MagTrax system allows for the precise and repeatable movement along both curved and straight paths, integrated seamlessly into a set. Furthermore, the expo will offer a preview of the new AGITO Commander control software, designed for motion-control programming, highlighting Motion Impossible’s commitment to innovation in film production technology.
