AJA Video Systems has unveiled a new plug-in for the Stream Deck, enhancing the control capabilities of its HELO Plus streaming and recording device.
This software integration enables users across various fields, including streaming, education, and professional audio-visual work, to manage their HELO Plus device using the popular Elgato Stream Deck controller. The plug-in is designed to work with all models of the Elgato Stream Deck on both Windows and macOS platforms and is available for download at no cost via the Elgato Stream Deck Marketplace.
Features of the Stream Deck Plug-In
The plug-in brings several new features to the Stream Deck interface:
- Users can select their input source—SDI, HDMI, an internal test signal, or the layout engine—which allows for the simultaneous use of HDMI and SDI inputs.
- It includes the ability to lock streaming and recording functions for concurrent use.
- The plug-in enables activation of AV Mute mode, which allows for manual control over live stream starts and stops.
- Users can also recall up to 10 saved layouts to enhance their production’s quality.
