Video technology manufacturer AJA Video Systems has joined the RAVENNA community, expanding industry cooperation around the standard for real-time audio over IP.
AJA’s DANTE-12GAM and OG-DANTE-12GAM audio embedder/disembedder units now include RAVENNA support. Both models feature dual 12G-SDI inputs and outputs, enabling up to 32 audio channels for embedding and 32 channels for disembedding, totaling 64 channels of I/O.

AJA President Nick Rashby noted the importance of interoperability during the transition to IP workflows, emphasizing that RAVENNA integration broadens AJA’s role in the AoIP ecosystem.
RAVENNA Evangelist Andreas Hildebrand highlighted that compatibility with AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 ensures seamless integration for professional audio-over-IP environments.
