Ahead of IBC 2023, AJA has announced a series of new products and updates, reinforcing its position as a leader in broadcast technology.
12G-SDI openGear Cards: AJA introduced several 12G-SDI openGear cards, including the OGS-12G-AM and OG-12G-AMA, which support 12G-SDI input/output up to 4K/UltraHD. These cards are designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames and offer remote control via Ross DashBoard software. The OG-Hi5-12G and OG-HA5-12G cards facilitate 12G-SDI conversion to/from HDMI 2.0, with models available with LC or ST Fiber.
HDR Image Analyzer 12G v3.0 Update: AJA’s free update to its HDR Image Analyzer 12G enhances HDR monitoring and analysis. The update supports simultaneous analysis of multiple video channels, integrates Dolby Vision tools, and offers NDI connectivity. It also supports the latest ARRI color science with ARRI LogC4 analysis and is 8K/UHD2 compatible. The update will be available for download in September.
KONA X Desktop I/O Technology: AJA’s next-gen KONA desktop I/O technology, KONA X, is a 4-lane PCIe 3.0 card with Streaming DMA. It offers ultra-low latency video capture and playback, making it ideal for live production, eSports, and virtual production. The card features dual BNC 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connections and is compatible with the new AJA Desktop Software v17. An optional KONA Xpand Break-out-Board is available for expanded connectivity.
