Without a doubt, everyone at the event is keen on exploring the advantages of cloud computing. They are seeking strategies to transition from CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) to OPEX (Operational Expenditure) business models and are searching for methods to integrate IP video. Especially in the broadcasting sector, there’s a noticeable shift towards ST 2110. At the event, Matrox announced the latest version of its Convert IP. This device adeptly transforms 2110 signals into baseband video, making it compatible with existing SDI infrastructure.
- What new products is your company showcasing at IBC 2023?
We have several intriguing announcements at the event. The foremost product we’re introducing is “Origin.” It’s our software development framework tailored for Orion and the community of developers surrounding it. Origin represents a paradigm shift in IT-native infrastructure. Designed to harness the full potential of the cloud, it’s entirely IT-native. This isn’t merely a repurposing of traditional video tools for the cloud; it’s been developed from scratch for modern computing. With its rapid performance and minimal latency, it offers all the perks of cloud computing. It’s a platform that’s certainly worth exploring.
- Are there any developments in integrating AI into your solutions?
AI is a domain that every manufacturer must delve into, understanding its significance in their tools and applications. We are actively researching AI to determine how we can optimally utilize this technology to deliver enhanced value to our clientele.
