Aniview partners Evrideo

Aniview, a specialist in video advertising technology and monetisation, announced its partnership with Evrideo, a cloud-based automated distribution provider for the burgeoning CTV advertising market.

Aniview and Evrideo’s combined state-of-the-art solution brings together some of the industry’s best-in-class providers for a complete solution enabling the creation, distribution and monetisation needs of broadcasters, free ad-supported TV (FAST) network providers and CTV device manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. In addition, Aniview announced the appointment of adtech veteran Greg Smith, who brings experience at DeepIntent, McKinsey & Co, Tremor Video. and others, as its General Manager for North America.

The merging of Aniview and Evrideo capabilities will enable content creators to launch and monetise streaming channels quickly, requiring zero upfront investment or infrastructure costs. Global customers can access Evrideo’s playout and distribution capabilities, leveraging technology that manages multiple bouquets of FAST channels and is designed to work with all video formats to deliver broadcast-quality channels with automated playout, graphics, and audio. In addition, customers will have access to Aniview’s pioneering dynamic ad insertion (DAI) technology, as well as its Video Ad Server and Monetization Marketplace. Under the terms of the agreement, Aniview will have exclusive rights to monetize Evrideo-powered CTV channels.

“Our vision has always been to deliver the foremost monetisation capabilities to our customers across the globe,” said Alon Carmel, CEO of Aniview. “Evrideo’s expertise in playout technology will help us expand our offerings beyond monetisation and enable Aniview to provide a unified solution that focuses on broadcast-grade channel creation, content distribution, as well as CTV advertising. The partnership is a natural progression in Aniview’s journey from being a leading authority in monetisation to a one-stop solution in the CTV space.”

“We will bring the combination of the best monetisation technology and high-quality cloud playout solution to publishers all over the world, across all devices and platforms,” said Avi Zenou, CEO and Co-Founder, Evrideo. “Through Aniview’s solution, we are able to bring our ground-breaking technology to publishers, providing flexibility and cost-effectiveness to customers in how they launch and deliver FAST channels.”

Smith joins Aniview as General Manager, North America, to run all aspects of the US/Americas business for sales, account management, and technical support. He will report to Carmel and is based in New York. He has significant experience in the programmatic media, online data, and mobile advertising sectors and brings both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial experience to Aniview. While at Tremor Video, Smith developed and launched the company’s supply side platform (SSP), which eventually became a stand-alone publicly-traded business called Telaria (now part of Magnite). At Aniview, he is responsible for running global partnerships for DSPs and CTV partners, handling corporate development, and managing all marketing aspects. Greg holds a BA in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in marketing and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

“I have tracked Aniview for several years and am impressed by its growth and transformation, evolving from a video player and ad server start-up to a robust monetisation marketplace. With its new CTV technology offerings, Aniview is well-positioned to continue its rapid success. I am delighted to join the Aniview team and deliver industry-leading solutions across playout and monetisation,” said Smith.
