The VCLX NM2 battery from Anton/Bauer, a leading provider of mobile power solutions for broadcast and cinema applications, delivers 600Wh of continuous power at 14.4V, 28V and 48V.
With 14.4V, 28V and 48V output voltages, the VCLX NM2 is the ideal all-in-one battery solution for power-hungry cameras, monitors, lighting fixtures and more. One XLR3 connector and two XLR4 connectors provide two simultaneous high current outputs, delivering 24A @ 14.4V DC, 16A @ 28V, or 12A @ 48V DC from a 600Whr NiMH battery.
The new lighter 29.35 lb (13.3 kg) battery is designed for harsh environments, pickup trucks and shipping crates. The VCLX NM2 is constructed from durable anodized aluminum with die-cast end caps and handle. An efficient thermal design with passive cooling means no fan noise on set, and the sealed case is waterproof up to 8.5 inches (21.6 cm).
Built-in real-time diagnostics on the 2.4″ LCD color screen means the battery and hardware can be monitored for peak performance. VCLX intelligent technology calculates anything powered via XLR3, XLR4 or USB connectors for maximum energy efficiency.
The new fleet management allows full control of the entire fleet of batteries. The VCLX NM2 sends status information including capacity, cycles, temperature and timestamp reports directly from the battery via built-in Wi-Fi or can be downloaded to a USB flash drive. Owners can save time manually checking batteries for health by increasing uptime.
