arkona IP Infrastructure and BLADE//runner at Hamburg Open

Arkona technologies GmbH will take part in Hamburg Open in January at Hall B6, Stand 632.

The company will demonstrate IP infrastructure solutions designed for live broadcast production, with an emphasis on deployable, real-world workflows.

Routing, Processing and Audio Workflows

The stand will feature routing, media processing, and audio solutions for SDI and ST 2110 environments. The demonstrations will also show joint solutions developed with technology partner manifold, including multiviewing and cloud-based workflows.

BLADE//runner Platform

Central to the exhibition is arkona’s BLADE//runner platform, built on the AT300 FPGA Programmable Acceleration Card. The platform supports high-capacity routing, clean switching, color processing, HDR/SDR workflows, mixing, downstream keying, and JPEG-XS encoding and decoding with ultra-low latency.

Arkona will highlight BLADE//runner software version 2.8, featuring a revised licensing structure. The new model provides CORE and MAX license options, consolidating earlier licensing formats and allowing flexible scaling of capacity and functionality without disruptive relicensing.

EASY-IP Joint Solution with manifold

Visitors will also see EASY-IP, a certified broadcast infrastructure package developed together with manifold. EASY-IP combines BLADE//runner and manifold CLOUD in a single system, delivering routing, processing, audio alignment, DSP, and distributed multiviewing with sub-frame latency.

Integration and Deployment

EASY-IP is designed for rapid deployment and compatibility with NMOS, Ember+, and TSL control systems. The solution supports IP-only, hybrid SDI/IP, and remote production environments.

Partner Participation and Masterclass

Arkona’s German business partner netorium will also attend Hamburg Open and will conduct a masterclass session titled How to: Cloud-native TV Remote Production.

Statement from arkona

Speaking of the event, Wiggo Evensen, Sales & Partner Manager at arkona technologies GmbH said:
“Our attendance is always a highlight of our calendar, because we are proud to be at the centre of Germany’s rapidly evolving IP production landscape.”

He continued:
“Most particularly, the Hamburg Open gives us the opportunity to show visitors to the stand the importance of our ongoing relationship with technology partners manifold, who themselves will be demonstrating some impressive new capacity upgrades. With manifold, and through EASY-IP, we are able to support production companies of all sizes, whether they are building full IP facilities, expanding hybrid SDI/IP workflows or rolling out remote and distributed production models. Regardless of whether a company is at the beginning of their IP journey or well-established within the field of 2110-driven workflows, together with technology partner manifold, and through experienced system integrators like netorium, we are ideally positioned to deliver solutions which fully meet the performance, scalability and interoperability demands of today’s productions.”
