Arkona has revealed plans to support its growing international customer base by participating in two major industry events.
Together with its technology partner Manifold Technologies, Arkona will exhibit at the Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) in London from May 15-16 and at BroadcastAsia in Singapore from May 29-31.
Showcasing Innovations in Live Production
During these events, Arkona will introduce its BLADE//runner platform, which features the IP Audio Engine (IPA) that enhances audio workflows, specifically in mixing and signal processing. The BLADE//runner platform, built on Arkona’s AT300 FPGA programmable acceleration card (PAC), supports audio/video routing, compression, and processing. It offers dynamic control of processing functions through a web-based UI, open APIs, and NMOS IS-04/-05 standards.
Introduction of New Audio Capabilities
Visitors at both MPTS and BroadcastAsia will have the opportunity to discover the new features of the BLADE//runner platform, including the AMIX audio mixer and the dedicated IPA audio mixer and DSP instance. These additions aim to improve audio workflow flexibility and scalability in live production settings.
Collaboration with Manifold Technologies
Manifold Technologies will also be present at both shows to discuss the manifold CLOUD, which has won the 2023 Digital Media World’s Gold Award in the Virtualization Category. This Tier-1 live production core infrastructure is based on a private cloud COTS infrastructure and provides on-demand services like multiviewer and audio/video processing, suitable for high-demand live sports, entertainment, and news productions.
Focus on Europe and APAC
Erling Hedkvist, the sales and business development manager for Arkona, emphasized the importance of Europe and the UK, along with the APAC region, as key areas for growth. He noted the positive reception of Arkona’s platforms in these markets and the company’s excitement to engage with attendees and support its customers at the upcoming events.
