ARRI Rental: Vienna Facility Offers Lighting and Grip Equipment

ARRI Rental has expanded its service offerings in Vienna, Austria, by opening a new facility that provides lighting and grip equipment, along with logistics support for productions of all sizes.

Camera equipment will still be available through the existing ARRI Rental Vienna office.

Strategic Location

The new facility is located at 7 Haidequerstraße 6, 1110 Wien, within the state-of-the-art hq7 studios complex. This complex, set to open this summer, aims to become a premier European production center, supporting major international film and TV productions. The site offers convenient access to the airport, central station, and city center.

Facility Features

Covering 750 square meters, the new ARRI Rental facility offers advanced lighting and grip equipment. This includes the latest ARRI lighting fixtures like SkyPanel X and Orbiter, as well as exclusive ARRI Rental products such as the modular BrikLok LED lights, the all-terrain HEXATRON crane vehicle, and the compact Hover Dolly with Delta Tracks.

Management and Support

The new facility will be managed by Andreas Buchschachner, Head of ARRI Rental Vienna, who will also oversee the existing office. He will be supported by lighting expert Ingo Gaertner. Buchschachner stated, “By expanding our presence in Vienna, we are demonstrating our belief in the city as a major European production hub. We have been renting equipment in Vienna for many years and have strong relationships here; we’re proud to support the local industry as it continues to grow.”
