ARRI has added a dedicated support system to its Pro Camera Accessories lineup for the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55 large format cinema camera.
The modular cage system aligns with existing ARRI rigging standards and supports integration into established professional workflows.
Cage design and structure
The cage consists of a two-part top plate, a BUD base plate, and three side brackets. The top plate includes multiple mounting threads and a top NATO rail. It supports ARRI handles and allows removal for compatibility with the native FUJIFILM handle.
Integrated NATO side brackets
The side brackets include built-in NATO rails, allowing direct attachment of accessories without additional clamps. This design supports standard NATO-mounted components such as wireless video transmitters and monitor arms.
BUD base plate compatibility
The BUD (Balance Utility Dovetail) base plate provides tool-less compatibility with ARRI ALEXA 35 accessories. It supports SAM plates for use with stabilizer systems, including ARRI TRINITY 2, ARTEMIS 2, and third-party gimbals such as DJI Ronin 2 and Freefly MōVI.
Tripod and stabilizer support
The system includes the Lightweight Tripod Plate LTP-1 with Touch and Go 35 snap-plate functionality. This allows fast transitions between tripod, handheld, and stabilized configurations.
Viewfinder and monitor mounting
ARRI offers a viewfinder adapter set for flexible positioning of the FUJIFILM 5-inch onboard monitor. The set includes the RMB-8 rod mounting bracket, VFA-4 viewfinder adapter, and a cross pipe, compatible with both ARRI and FUJIFILM top handles.
Configuration options
The support system is available in four sets: Basic, Pro, Extended Basic, and Extended Pro. Extended sets include handheld components such as a shoulder pad, rosette brackets, and 15mm rods.
Market positioning
The ARRI cage joins other third-party solutions from MID49, Tilta, Kondor Blue, and Bright Tangerine. Its primary distinction is native compatibility with ARRI support equipment commonly used by rental houses and professional productions.
