Advanced Systems Group LLC (ASG), a technology and services provider for media creatives and content owners, has announced the expansion of its audio system design and integration team.
The new team members are based in Los Angeles and Nashville and will serve recording studios, audio post-production facilities, and screening rooms in Southern California and other markets.
New Team Members
The expanded team is led by ASG Audio Team Director Tom Menrath and Hamid “Gadget” Hopkins. It now includes recent hires Tim Lawrence as the Head of Studio Design and David Arnold as a Studio Designer.

This announcement follows ASG’s recent acquisition of Audio Intervisual Design (AID), a Southern California powerhouse, and Audinate’s recognition of ASG as the first official Dante Connect systems integrator.
Expertise and Experience
Hopkins, Lawrence, and Arnold have extensive experience working together. They have recently completed projects for several high-profile entertainment facilities, including designing and integrating ADR suites and pre-mix and mix facilities. The team is factory-trained and certified in Dolby Atmos immersive technology. They previously designed and built the first privately owned Dolby Atmos theatrical stage in Los Angeles.
