Key Appointments to Drive Growth

Kate Sims’ Background and Role

Sims, with over a decade of experience in IT consulting and media technology services, previously served as the VP of Business Development for a Los Angeles-based systems integration firm. In her new role, Sims will manage relationships between ASG technology partners and clients and lead the company’s growth in Southern California. “Over the years, Joe and I have helped leading media enterprises make seamless transitions to cutting-edge MAM systems and optimized storage infrastructures,” Sims stated. She expressed her eagerness to work with ASG’s team and contribute to its 25-year history.

Joe Marchitto’s Expertise and Responsibilities

Marchitto, the new CTO of Strategic Accounts, will work alongside Sims to enhance ASG’s enterprise clientele in the Los Angeles area. He brings a wealth of technical knowledge, previously serving as the CIO of a systems design firm where he led three engineering teams focused on systems integration, cloud, and media asset management deployments. Marchitto’s past accolades include being named “Systems Engineer of the Year” three years in a row at Quantum. He expressed his familiarity with ASG’s standards and his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m looking forward to the new projects and challenges that will surely expand my skill set. This position feels more like a coming home than starting a new job.”

Reporting Structure and Leadership Vision

Both Sims and Marchitto will report to ASG CTO Andy Darcy.
