Exclusive Interview with Asim Imamoğlu, International Regional Sales Manager, Fortinge, Turkey, at Cabsat 2024.
TKT1957: Hello, could you introduce yourself and tell us about Fortinge’s presence at Cabsat 2024?
Asim Imamoğlu: Hello everyone, I’m Asim Imamoğlu, the International Regional Sales Manager for Fortinge. We’ve been participating in Cabsat for about 10 to 12 years, and we’re excited to be here again in Dubai for Cabsat 2024. I’d like to give you a brief introduction about our product lineup.
TKT1957: What equipment and solutions is your company presenting here?
Asim Imamoğlu: Right now, we have several products on display. For example, we have new teleprompters designed for tablets and small cameras like DSLRs. This one here is a new model specialized for tablets, and it’s perfect for small cameras. We also have another model called MIA, which can be used with phones, PCs, or laptops, offering multiple usage options.
We have controllers that are super easy to use and operate without any noise. These include our software, which we continue to develop. Our software is included with these products, and it is highly customizable. If a customer or distributor has a specific request, we can work on it and potentially add that feature.
Additionally, we are presenting teleprompter solutions for stages and conferences. I am currently controlling the text speed from here, making it slower or faster depending on the speaker’s pace. This is ideal for outdoor presentations. We also have a product specialized for PTZ cameras, with a built-in monitor allowing you to see yourself while you speak. The camera is integrated inside the box.
For ENG cameras, we offer teleprompters in various sizes, such as 19-inch, 15-inch, and 21-inch models, suitable for medium stages or studios. These come with different lenses and are perfect for different studio environments. For larger studios and televisions, we have robust teleprompters designed for heavy-duty cameras. These models are full-featured with input and output options, including NDI, VGA, and AV. They come with optional clocks and monitors.
Our teleprompter systems can be controlled to adjust text speed and visibility, ensuring smooth presentations. This system allows you to make it faster or slower and even add a line in the middle of the screen for easier reading. We also have a foot controller that can be used to drive the text while speaking.
TKT1957: What are your thoughts on the future trends in the broadcast and pro AV industry?
Asim Imamoğlu: The future of the industry is heavily leaning towards automation and advanced technology. Large broadcasts and conferences are increasingly utilizing AI and sophisticated technologies. I believe that in the future, production will be centralized, with everything controlled from a single room instead of having multiple people working behind the scenes. This trend towards streamlined and efficient production processes is something we are fully prepared to support with our innovative products and solutions.
