Astera launched the QuikPunch, a battery-powered LED PAR spotlight with a 5” Fresnel lens.
The fixture combines LED PAR versatility with Fresnel optics, providing high-output lighting for stage, film, and live productions. QuikPunch delivers 8,000 lux at 3 meters using only 75 W and runs up to 4.5 hours at full output.
High-Output and Efficient Performance
The QuikPunch features a 13º-60º zoom and QuikTurn beam adjustment. It uses Astera Titan LED Engine, RGBMA color science, and OutputGain. Optional EdgeSoftener filters allow frost effects, and barndoors give precise light control. The fixture ensures zero color shift and clean single-shadow output.
Flexible Mounting Options
Mounting options include foldable yoke, KickStand, AirlineTrack, and 3/8” rear thread for baby pins or Superclamps. QuikPunch can be rigged on floors, trusses, or tripods.
Wireless and Wired Control
QuikPunch integrates with Astera’s wireless ecosystem via AsteraApp, LumenRadio CRMX, UHF, Bluetooth, infrared, and wired DMX/RDM. The fixture can switch instantly between wireless and wired operation.
Accessories and Fast Setup
Accessories include TrackSpigot 28/16, TrackPin Compact, FlexCovers, ChargingPlate, PrepBox, and ChargingCase. Up to eight fixtures can be charged or prepped simultaneously. TiltMeter ensures precise fixture positioning via the built-in accelerometer displayed on the OLED screen.
