Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK, 27 November 2023

Recent activity has included a complete master control room relocation and upgrade for one of Europe’s highest profile news broadcasters. Projects have also been completed for five universities in the UK. Each had varying requirements ranging from consultation advice and recommendations to the installation of large-scale LED walls for use as studio backgrounds.

“ATG Danmon has sustained its ability to create and deliver fully integrated and successful systems based on long experience, careful research and skilful engineering,” says Paul Shonfeld, Head of Sales. “High quality is maintained at every phase of the process, from initial planning with customers right through to system acceptance and operator training, as well as ongoing system support for any requested timescale. We maintain a detailed knowledge base encompassing every sector of the media industry from broadcasters and independent production facilities to the educational, governmental and corporate sectors. Each project is monitored by an experienced supervisor who becomes the key point of reference from commencement through to completion. This is an approach which we have applied efficiently and successfully for nearly 30 years.”

In the corporate sector, additional studio installations have been completed for major financial institutes in the UK and as distant as the Far East. One of London’s longest established department stores commissioned ATG Danmon to design and equip a video production studio, control room and apparatus room which are now being used to capture and relay demonstrations and events. Live content from the new facility is also being sent around the globe. The set even includes a camera in the oven used for gastronomic demonstrations.

“Our experience in integrating multiple OEM products into a full function solution is also bringing additional support contracts,” adds Jonathan Hughes, ATG Danmon Managing Director. “Many of our clients find our breadth of experience with multiple vendors attractive because we can function as a one-stop shop to ensure they obtain consistent support. This shields customers from the finger-pointing that can arise when combining products from separate sources. We would also like to extend our thanks to our OEM partners for their support throughout the year.”
