Atlona has introduced the AT-OME-CS31-SA-C, the latest model in its AT-OME-CS31 Series of AV presentation and collaboration systems.
This new addition supports switching between USB-C and HDMI sources, enhancing connectivity options in modern learning and meeting spaces.
Features and Connectivity Options
The AT-OME-CS31-SA-C is a 3×1 AV switcher, featuring one USB-C input and two HDMI inputs. It joins the existing models: AT-OME-CS31-SA, which has three HDMI inputs, and AT-OME-CS31-SA-HDBT, which includes one HDBaseT input and two HDMI inputs. The switcher allows sources such as laptops, computers, media players, and document cameras to be selected and routed to a display or projector via the HDMI output.
Consolidated AV Functions
This new model consolidates AV switching, USB routing, audio mixing, amplification, and control into a compact enclosure, suitable for placement behind displays, in lecterns, or under tables. The USB-C input is designed to accommodate modern laptops and mobile devices, supporting video, audio, data, and device charging up to 60 watts over a single connection, thereby reducing cable clutter.
Enhanced Audio Capabilities for Education
The OME-CS31-SA-C includes special features for educational applications, ensuring clear audio for lessons and announcements. Audio ducking reduces program audio levels when an instructor speaks into a microphone connected to the balanced input. The system can also mute automatically during school public address announcements. The integrated digital signal processing allows mixing various audio sources to amplifier, line, and USB audio outputs, and includes acoustic echo cancellation for remote USB audio.
USB 3.0 Hub and Control Options
The switcher features a USB 3.0 hub, supporting switching between two hosts and four peripherals such as cameras, speakerphones, and interactive displays. Automatic display control enables the OME-CS31-SA-C to turn a display on or off based on input activity or room occupancy when paired with an Atlona AT-OCS-900N occupancy sensor. The system can also be controlled via the Atlona AT-VKP-8E keypad controller or a Velocity touch panel control system.
This release expands the capabilities of the AT-OME-CS31 Series, providing flexible and advanced connectivity solutions for diverse AV needs.
