Atomos and EditShare Integrate MediaSilo in Atomos Cloud Studio

Atomos and EditShare Integrate MediaSilo in Atomos Cloud Studio

Atomos and EditShare have joined forces to offer MediaSilo access through Atomos Cloud Studio.

This integration involves Atomos’ camera-mounted monitor-recorders, which are now connected. This new feature allows editors to start processing footage immediately by reducing the time between capture and editing.

How It Works

Users can link their cameras to a cloud-enabled Atomos device using HDMI or SDI connections. By setting up an Atomos Cloud Studio account and selecting MediaSilo as the upload destination, users can specify the project and folder where the media should be sent. Recording starts with a simple press of the record button, and proxy files begin to sync to the chosen MediaSilo project or folder automatically. As footage uploads, team members can begin their review, with MediaSilo generating dynamic links that update continuously as additional footage is added, facilitating seamless feedback from external collaborators.

Subscription Plans and Benefits

Atomos Cloud Studio’s Camera to Cloud plan includes access to MediaSilo accounts. This plan is available for free with the purchase of any Atomos Connect device, including models for Ninja V, V+, Ninja, Ninja Ultra, Shogun, or Shogun Ultra. Featured benefits include the option for single or dual recording, the capability for 4K uploads, and the use of Atomos’ progressive upload technology, which enables ongoing uploads while filming continues.
