At InterBEE 2025, Atomos announced a major firmware update for the Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX monitor-recorders.
The update introduces integrated camera control via USB-C for supported cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Z CAM, and others.
Integrated Camera Control
Users can start and stop recording, adjust ISO, shutter, aperture, and white balance directly from the touchscreen interface. The update improves comfort and efficiency when the camera is mounted in tight spaces.
Enhanced Monitoring Experience
Both monitors feature a 5-inch, 1500-nit HDR touchscreen with professional tools including EL Zone™, waveform, vectorscope, and focus peaking. Ninja TX GO supports HDMI-only input and records up to 6Kp30 RAW. Ninja TX adds SDI input/output, AirGlu wireless timecode, and 8Kp30 RAW recording.
Recording and Storage Flexibility
The monitors record to CFexpress Type B or external USB-C SSD storage. Supported formats include Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx, and H.265/H.264, enabling flexible post-production workflows.
Cloud and Live Streaming
Built-in Wi-Fi allows direct camera-to-cloud operation, including 20GB free cloud storage. Compatible platforms include ATOMOSphere, Frame.io, Dropbox, and live streaming via NDI 6/HX3.
Availability
Firmware version 12.2.0 is available now as a free over-the-air update for both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX. The update enhances on-set workflow and simplifies camera control for professional creators.
