Atomos announces a firmware update for Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX monitor-recorders, enabling Open Gate 48P ProRes RAW recording with the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55 camera.
The update allows filmmakers greater creative flexibility and professional-grade image quality.
Expanded Recording Capabilities
The firmware supports 4:3 Open Gate 4K RAW up to 48fps over HDMI and up to 29.97fps over SDI. Open Gate format captures the full sensor readout, preserving dynamic range and color science.

Executive Statements
Peter Barber, CEO of Atomos, highlighted the Ninja TX series as a key solution for digital cinema production. Yujiro Igarashi from FUJIFILM emphasized the collaboration’s role in unlocking the camera’s cinematic potential.
