BP3600: A New Era in Sound Capture
The BP3600 is designed as a high-end audio tool for broadcasting, ideal for capturing dimensional audio at various events like sports, concerts, and film productions. Its design includes eight compact capsules that maintain a balance between excellent high-frequency response and a compact, lightweight form factor. This design promotes ease of use for single operators and simplifies the setup process. The microphone supports direct routing to 5.1.4-channel speaker layouts without the need for extra decoding or processing to avoid latency.
Technical Specifications and Design
The microphone’s structure resembles a cube, with each of its eight microphone modules extending 15cm apart. These modules feature 12mm hypercardioid capsules, facilitating the capture of distinct, separate signals to create an immersive audio experience with a sense of spaciousness. In a standard 5.1.4 immersive audio setup, the microphone’s upper and lower channels can be directly linked to corresponding speaker channels, eliminating the need for additional processing.
User-Friendly Features for Efficient Operation
The BP3600 is designed with user convenience in mind. Each microphone assembly is color-coded and numbered for easy channel identification. The assemblies are equipped with locks to ensure precise positioning and prevent accidental detachment, offering reliability and protection against environmental elements like rain. Additionally, a safety strap is included for secure use in venues where the microphone is positioned over audiences, such as stadiums and auditoriums.
