Blue Ant Media recently announced a major revamp of its leadership, coinciding with the acquisition of marblemedia. Co-Presidents Mark Bishop and Matthew Hornburg are spearheading the new executive team for the company’s studio and rights division, which is yet to be named. They emphasized their commitment to innovation and creative storytelling for worldwide audiences.
Matthew Hornburg is guiding the Unscripted Development team, with Jennifer Harkness, based in Los Angeles, spearheading Factual Entertainment. In Toronto, Kelsey Espensen is in charge of Unscripted Entertainment, while Steve Gamester focuses on Specialist Factual Development.
On the Scripted Development side, under Mark Bishop’s leadership, Carrie Paupst Shaughnessy is taking charge of Scripted Drama & Comedy, focusing on Scripted Production. Melissa Williamson is heading Scripted Development, and AJ Trauth is leading the expanded Kids, Family, and Young Adult division in Los Angeles. Josh Bowen is at the helm of the animation studio in Toronto and its upcoming expansion.

Donna Luke is leading Production and Post Production, collaborating with the Co-Presidents on the company’s project lineup. Paul Kilback continues his role in Factual Series, Aileen Gardner is overseeing production for Unscripted, Specialist Factual, and Factual Entertainment, and Stefanie Haist is focused on Unscripted Entertainment productions.
In London, Diane Rankin is managing commercial strategy and content financing for the studio’s distribution and production, working with Ben Barrett who handles content financing and partnerships for unscripted content.
Sales efforts in the Americas and EMEA are led by Bryan Gabourie and Gerbrig Blanksma, focusing on original content, pre-sales, content licensing, co-productions, and strategic partnerships. Lastly, Lilla Hurst is driving the distribution team’s global acquisitions and content strategy from the UK office.
