Bolin Technology has expanded its presence in the Dante AV market with the global announcement of its newest product, the Dante AV-H™ hardware decoder, designated the EG40DH.
This product is now available for pre-order, with bulk shipments expected to start in March 2024.
Features of the EG40DH
The EG40DH marks the latest advancement in Bolin’s Dante AV lineup. This decoder is engineered to manage a single Dante AV-H video stream over a standard 1GB network, delivering video resolutions up to 4K60 (4096 x 2160). It supports HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs and can handle up to eight channels of embedded Dante audio, making it compatible with all Dante AV-H cameras and Dante audio devices.
Enhanced Network Management and Compatibility
Featuring compatibility with Dante Domain Manager, the EG40DH allows for detailed management and user access control. It supports both Dante AV-H and Dante AV Ultra flows on the same network, optimizing video quality while utilizing lower bandwidth. This decoder is an ideal solution for managing video streams from Dante AV-H PTZ cameras or PCs equipped with Dante Studio software, enabling seamless output to displays or vision mixers for switching among various sources.

The decoder boasts impressive specifications, including:
