On November 5, 2024, the International Broadcasting and Film Production Conference, Broadcasting / Cinema 2024 Uzbekistan, was held with great success in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
This significant event for the film and television industry brought together professionals from various countries to discuss pressing issues and future industry development prospects.

The conference was organized by TKT1957, Uzbekfilm, and Argo-Media—key companies contributing to the growth of cinema and television production in Uzbekistan. Held at the legendary Uzbekfilm studio, known for its rich history and prominent role in the country’s film industry, the event offered a platform for the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and ideas among professionals from different nations.
Participants discussed current trends, growth prospects in the film and television production sectors, and opportunities for collaboration and partnerships among companies and professionals from various regions. This event marked an important step in developing international cooperation in film and television production and strengthened connections between professionals from Uzbekistan and other countries.
The Broadcasting / Cinema 2024 Uzbekistan International Conference was aimed at platform operators, broadcasters, advertisers, advertising specialists, system integrators, and technology companies, offering firsthand information on the latest and most innovative services available to viewers, operators, and advertisers.

Uzbekfilm is a film studio founded in Tashkent in 1925. After Uzbekistan gained its independence in 1991, the government of the country took full control of the studio. MY5, also known as Mening Yurtim 5, is a nationwide, private 24-hour youth, educational, and entertainment television channel in Uzbekistan. The channel’s test broadcasting began on November 12, 2014, and full broadcasting commenced on December 12 of the same year.

The National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan (Uzbek: Oʻzbekiston Milliy teleradiokompaniyasi, MTRK) is Uzbekistan’s national broadcaster, operating four television networks. The MTRK broadcast network includes 12 television channels, 4 radio channels, and 12 regional television and radio companies (covering the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions). Broadcasting is conducted in both digital and analog formats, with additional satellite and internet streaming services.
