Canon Europe has announced its participation in Integrated Systems Europe 2024 (ISE), the largest AV systems integration show globally. The event will occur from January 30 to February 02 at Fira Barcelona, Spain.
The company plans to showcase a variety of products, including PTZ cameras, controllers, large sensor camcorders, and VR/AR and EOS R cameras. These products are designed to be user-friendly in various settings such as education, virtual production, and corporate environments, including video conferencing and in-house studios.
Focus on Corporate Applications
Highlighting the intersection of broadcast and AV, Canon aims to demonstrate solutions ideal for live streaming corporate events like keynote speeches. In collaboration with multiCAM Systems and Skaarhoj, Canon will display two multi-camera setups, catering to both entry-level and professional needs, emphasizing user-friendliness.
VR in Education
Canon will collaborate with Canon Medical to showcase VR solutions tailored for educational purposes, particularly in medical and engineering disciplines. The display will feature the EOS R5 C and Dual Fisheye lens, illustrating how VR can create immersive content for medical training.
Virtual Production Techniques
In partnership with Brainstorm and Alfalite, Canon will exhibit a blend of imaging technologies. These demonstrations will involve using green screens and LED walls as virtual backdrops to illustrate scalable virtual production with various cameras.
PTZ Camera Wall
A display of PTZ cameras will be set up to show Canon’s technology supporting the AV channel, focusing on its intelligent AF system. This display aims to enhance hybrid working environments, particularly in higher education and corporate settings. Alongside Sennheiser and Shure, Canon will also demonstrate the integration of its PTZ camera range with sound systems to create automated meeting environments.
Enhancing Education with Auto Tracking
To address communication needs in higher education, Canon will introduce its Auto Tracking Application for PTZ cameras. This technology allows cameras to automatically track presenters in university lectures, eliminating the need for a camera operator.
Automated Photography for E-commerce
Recognizing the growing demand for in-house product photography among e-commerce and online retailers, Canon has partnered with OrbitVu. This partnership will highlight how Canon’s photography ecosystem can streamline the process of taking high-quality product photos.
