At IBC 2024, Cartoni will debut the Lifto Twin Pro, the latest enhancement to their Lifto 25 motorized elevation column.
This new version can elevate PTZ cameras to a height of 4 meters (158 inches) and now features Ethernet control for remote operation. The Lifto 25/S and Lifto Twin Pro models offer variable speed and the ability to store up to 100 preset positions, making them suitable for a variety of broadcasting environments, including studios, conferences, and live events.
PTZ cameras have become a cost-effective solution for various broadcasting needs. Cartoni has responded to this trend by developing accessories for easy installation in different settings, providing broadcasters with a more versatile, compact setup. This makes the Lifto Twin Pro an ideal choice for modern broadcasting needs.
New Height Detector Sensor for Fluid Heads
Cartoni has also introduced the Height Detector Sensor (HDS) accessory for their Maxima 5.0 and Maxima 30 Fluid Heads. Mounted on the tilt axis and aligned with the optical center of the camera, this sensor offers precise height measurements, which are especially valuable for camera assistants and VR departments. This allows accurate alignment of virtual backgrounds with camera shots.
Position Tracking in Fluid Heads and Supports
Cartoni has integrated position tracking technology into its fluid heads, jibs, and the Lambda 25 nodal head. This system uses high-precision optical encoders placed on the rotation shaft to ensure accurate angular readings. The encoded heads are compatible with various image composition software, offering precise tracking for remote cameras in applications such as VFX and special effects.
Revamped Pedestal HP Series
Cartoni will also showcase its updated High Performance Pedestal (HP) range at IBC 2024. These pedestals feature a manual elevation second stage, allowing for smoother vertical movement adjustments. A new sliding roller mechanism has been added to further reduce operating noise and enhance smoothness in operation.
New Rail Clamp Support
Cartoni’s new Rail Clamp support for 75/100mm bowl base heads will also be on display. This accessory allows for secure attachment of camera systems to banisters, trusses, or rollbars with two safety clamps. It is designed for use in sports, interviews, and other outdoor activities, ensuring camera stability and safety.
