Chrosziel expands CDM Zoom Servo Drive family

Chrosziel has introduced the FR7 Zoom Servo Drive, a new, adaptable zoom motor designed to integrate effortlessly with the Sony PTZ ILME-FR7 camera.

This compact motor can be adjusted to fit nearly any lens, attaching easily to the 15mm rods of the Sony PTZ head. Control is facilitated through the Option port of the Sony ILME-FR7, utilizing Sony’s proprietary camera protocol for seamless operation within the Sony FR7 ecosystem.

Broad Compatibility with Lenses One of the standout features of the CDM-SFR is its compatibility with a wide range of zoom lenses, made possible by the included Chrosziel Flexi toothed ring (#206-30). This feature allows the use of the motor with various lenses, including those not typically equipped with standard cine gearing. This expands creative options, enabling users to switch effortlessly from wide-angle to long-zoom lenses.
