Cinegy, a leading provider of software-defined technology for digital video capture, processing, asset management, and playout, is set to launch two new Air product bundles and an AI-powered automatic subtitling product at IBC2024.
The new offerings include Air Pack and Air Infinity, designed to enhance broadcast playout, automation, and delivery.
Virtualized Infrastructure and Performance
Visitors to the Cinegy stand will see a fully virtualized and containerized back-end infrastructure. This setup delivers 64 channels of HD playout from a single physical server, also supporting Cinegy’s Multiviewer and Capture PRO solutions for real-time monitoring and scalable video recording.
Cinegy’s Cloud Playout Platform
Jan Weigner, Managing Director of Cinegy GmbH, stated that the focus of IBC is on Cinegy’s cloud playout platform. This platform offers building blocks for partners and service providers to create tailored solutions. Cinegy’s platform is known for its low hardware resource footprint and operational cost, making it reliable for building cutting-edge solutions and service offerings. The platform also emphasizes scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.

Air Infinity: Ensuring Continuity of Service
Air Infinity combines Cinegy’s award-winning Air PRO playout software with the Cinegy IP failover system, StreamSwitcher. StreamSwitcher provides instantaneous failover switching, ensuring service continuity by switching to an alternate path immediately upon diagnosing problems. This solution requires minimal hardware and offers a cost-effective way to ensure broadcast reliability.
Air Pack: Versatile Channel-in-a-Box Solution
Replacing the successful TV Pack, Air Pack offers a channel-in-a-box solution with greater usage scenarios and deployment flexibility. It bundles Cinegy’s popular products, including Air PRO, Capture PRO, and Multiviewer, providing all the necessary tools to broadcast a TV channel at significant savings compared to individual purchases.
Cinegy Multiviewer: Enhanced Monitoring and Scalability
The Cinegy Multiviewer can input, monitor, analyze, and display hundreds of traditional or IP-based incoming feeds. It features GPU acceleration capabilities, reducing server CPU load and increasing scalability. The Multiviewer supports professional NDI monitoring with an NDI source tolerance mode.
AI-Powered Automatic Subtitling
Cinegy is launching an AI-powered automatic subtitling solution capable of transcribing spoken language into DVB or teletext subtitles in real-time. This feature is available as a standalone product, Cinegy Subtitling, or as part of the Air Ultimate bundle.
