Clear-Com Enhances Digital Matrix with EHX 13.1 Update

introduces role management, NMOS compatibility, and support for 2X10 Touch Desktop Panel in EHX 13.1.

Clear-Com has officially rolled out the latest iteration of their configuration software for the Eclipse HX Digital Matrix, version 13.1, EHX. This update marks a significant step forward in streamlining workflows and enhancing user experience within the world of digital communication networks.

The introduction of advanced role management features in version 13.1 stands out as an industry-first innovation, according to Clear-Com. This functionality allows for a more efficient configuration process, ensuring that users can quickly and easily access the tools and settings they need, tailored to their specific role and requirements. This not only speeds up the setup process but also contributes to a more intuitive and user-friendly experience overall.

In keeping with the industry’s move towards open standards and interoperability, EHX 13.1 offers comprehensive compatibility with both NMOS4 and NMOS5 standards. This ensures seamless discovery and interaction across diverse networked media devices, promoting a smoother, more integrated workflow. Clear-Com’s commitment to the ST2110-30 standard is further demonstrated through the addition of NMOS (Networked Media Open Specification) IS-04 and IS-05 to EHX 13.1. IS-04 addresses the Discovery and Registration of devices on a network, while IS-05 manages device connection and management.

The update also introduces support for Clear-Com’s latest hardware addition, the 2X10 Touch Desktop Panel. This 20-key, IP-based panel offers a compact and intuitive desktop solution for Eclipse HX users, ensuring that even in space-constrained environments, users have access to Clear-Com’s powerful communication tools.
