Clear-Com has implemented advanced communication systems at St. Dominic High School and Eagan High School, offering students hands-on experience with professional-grade tools and improving the quality of their productions.
At St. Dominic High School in St. Louis, Technical Director Jake Emge utilized Clear-Com’s EQUIP wireless intercom system to manage the theater’s audio and visual components during the Spring Musical Cinderella. The setup included two EQUIP transceivers, five headsets, and a trunked connection to the LQ Series IP Interface, which communicated via 2-wire to the Encore Analog Partyline System. Additionally, the system integrated with the Agent-IC mobile app over WiFi. The technical setup featured an LQ-R 2W4 – 4WG4 rack unit, MS-702, eight RS-601 beltpacks, and Clear-Com one-ear headsets. The system also supported a combination of bone-conducting wireless headsets and noise-canceling headphones with boom mics for cellular communication, enabling efficient backstage operations. Jake Emge noted the system’s reliability and user satisfaction, emphasizing its role in ensuring a smooth production process.
