Colleen Smith’s Background and Experience
Colleen Smith brings over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing within the software industry to Telestream. Most recently, she led the Marketing organization at Avid Technology for six years, where she gained significant insights into the media industry and identified key growth opportunities. Her expertise in analyzing customer behaviors, sales, and market trends is expected to be a vital asset in advancing Telestream’s product marketing and innovation strategy.
Responsibilities at Telestream
As part of the executive team, Colleen Smith will also lead Partner Marketing efforts, working closely with Telestream’s global resellers and cloud delivery partners. She will focus on ensuring that Telestream’s partnerships are aligned with market demands and customer expectations.
Previous Roles
Before joining Avid Technology, Colleen held the position of VP/GM at Progress Software, where she was instrumental in developing the SaaS/Cloud business strategy and leading the Product and Partner Marketing teams. Earlier in her career, she served as VP/Industry Analyst at AMR Research and held leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, and R&D at Geac/D&B Software.
