Dalet, a key service provider for organizations involved with media-rich content, has appointed Santiago Solanas as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Santiago brings an extensive background with over 30 years of experience in major technology companies such as Cisco, Sage, Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft. Prior to joining Dalet, he was the CEO at Grupo Primavera, where he managed the acquisition and integration of 15 companies, establishing it as a leading software platform in Iberia before its merger with Cegid.

Christian Heim, Chairman of the Board at Dalet and Partner at Long Path Partners, expressed enthusiasm about Santiago’s ability to drive significant growth and praised his exemplary track record. Long Path Partners, which took Dalet private in 2020, remains the major shareholder. Under Santiago’s leadership, Dalet aims to reinforce its position as a leading provider of cloud-native, AI, and automation solutions in the fields of news, media & entertainment, and sports content.

In his new role, Santiago will not only serve as CEO but also invest in Dalet and join its Board. Carl Farrell, the outgoing CEO, has left the company in a strong position and will continue to serve on Dalet’s Board to provide strategic guidance.
