Darren Long has taken on the role of Programme Director for ITV’s Content Supply Simplification Programme, leading a transformation initiative aimed at modernizing and streamlining the company’s content supply chain from both operational and technological perspectives.
According to Long, the programme is focused on enhancing capabilities, improving processes, and evolving workflows to ensure that ITV’s content delivery remains efficient, scalable, and future-ready.
As part of ITV’s Transformation Management Office (TMO), Long oversees the end-to-end programme, ensuring alignment across all divisions, from production to distribution. “By embedding a capability-driven approach, I focus on building resilience, optimizing workflows, and leveraging technology to drive sustainable improvements in ITV’s content operations,” he stated.
Long also emphasized the importance of bridging technology and operations to unlock greater efficiency, innovation, and agility in content creation, management, and distribution. “By integrating the right technological solutions and refining operational processes, we are ensuring that ITV remains at the forefront of content supply transformation,” he added.
