Acquisition enhances Perifery’s AI-driven workflow solutions in media, entertainment, and healthcare sectors.

DataCore Software has announced its strategic acquisition of Workflow Intelligence Nexus (WIN). WIN, a distinguished workflow services and software company, specializes in assisting clients to deploy and automate media workflows with state-of-the-art cloud and AI technologies.

This acquisition is a significant addition to DataCore’s Perifery business unit, which focuses on data management from core to cloud and edge. This unit is particularly active in rapidly expanding markets, including media, entertainment, and healthcare. Following the acquisition of Object Matrix earlier this year, this move further establishes Perifery’s dominance in AI-enhanced workflow acceleration.

The world is witnessing a data boom, with organizations generating and storing unprecedented amounts of data. Gartner’s projections suggest that by 2026, large enterprises will triple their unstructured data capacity across various platforms compared to 2023. In this data-rich environment, eliminating manual processes and operational barriers is essential. The future is in AI-powered automated workflows that facilitate quicker decision-making and goal achievement.

WIN’s robust automation workflow capabilities have garnered trust from global media giants like Iconic Media and Simple DCP. Their deep expertise and innovative solutions integrate seamlessly with media asset management systems, automating over 400 workflows that were previously manual. The synergy between WIN and Perifery promises a transition for media companies from manual tasks to AI-driven automated workflows, ensuring quicker decisions and streamlined operations.

Perifery will be showcasing its comprehensive solution suite for the media and entertainment sector at the 2023 NAB Show New York.
