His journey continued with a 12-year stint at NBC Universal, where he immersed himself in the broadcast industry, gaining critical insights and forging vital connections. Following his time at NBC Universal, MacKinnon spent three years as a consultant, during which he broadened his expertise into the public safety, government, and medical fields, enhancing his network with vendors and clients in mission-critical communications.
