At ISE 2023, Densitron will showcase the recently announced integration of its acclaimed IDS control system with the full range of BirdDog cameras on the stand.
One of Densitron’s long-term technology partners, BirdDog manufactures high-quality cameras, converters, software and AV solutions, and was an early adopter of the acclaimed NDI video-over-IP transport and codec technology, subsequently embedding it in the complete product range.
Available through the IDS software, the integration provides an easy-to-use interface that allows camera operators to adjust primary settings such as position, location, and preset store & recall.
The demonstration on the BirdDog stand will highlight the suitability of IDS to control BirdDog cameras, which support production in HD and 4K, and are widely used in broadcast, houses of worship, e-sports and education. The integration will be showcased via the use of Densitron’s IDS integrated touchscreen with enhanced graphics, along with some switching of encoder/decoders.
Eamon Drew, Founder of BirdDog, commented: “Since the announcement of the IDS/BirdDog integration in August 2022, we’ve had a tremendous number of enquiries from customers keen to benefit from the combination of these two leading brands. The interface that Densitron developed for our cameras is extremely user-friendly, and we look forward to showcasing the possibilities of this integration to customers across AV and broadcast in Barcelona.”
ISE Integrated Systems Europe 2023 will be held at Fira Barcelona, Gran Vía, Bareslona, Spain, 31 Jan – 3 Feb.
