The Desview R7III offers a 7-inch 1080p touchscreen display, tailored for content creators seeking a cost-effective, daylight-readable solution.Additionally, an SDI variant named the Desview R7SIII is available, featuring 4K60 HDMI and 3G-SDI connectivity.
The monitor boasts a 7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a high brightness level of 2800 cd/m², and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It supports an 8+2-bit color depth and offers complete DCI-P3 color space coverage. HDR capabilities are included, with options for HLG or PQ modes.
Viewers can expect a wide viewing angle of 178°. The device accepts HDMI 2.0 for both input and output, and supports UHD 4K60 video input and output along with embedded audio. It facilitates LUT importing via a USB-A port and features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Embedded within the monitor are several imaging tools such as vectorscope, waveform, and zebra, among others.
Powering and Mounting Options
The R7III can be powered through its dual L-Series battery plate, a USB-C port, or an optional 2-pin LEMO cable. It uniquely includes a LEMO power input for its price range. Additionally, it offers an 8 VDC output for camera power via an external dummy battery or cable.
Mounting the monitor on a rig is straightforward with its 1/4″-20 threads on the bottom and side. It also comes with a tilting monitor mount for flexible positioning.
