- At IBC, we presented various new solutions for home entertainment with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision in our Dolby Living Room. Among other things, we showed how easy it is to experience immersive sound in Dolby Atmos with soundbars and wireless speakers. Dolby Atmos is available on millions of devices at home and numerous streaming services rely on Dolby Atmos and also on Dolby Vision. The extended HDR format is therefore also an important topic for the broadcast industry. Live sports such as the top match of the football Bundesliga in Germany are now broadcast in Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision could be for example the next logical step.
For the ProAV industry, Dolby Atmos Music is the trend topic par excellence. Worldwide, more than 650 recording studios now produce music in Dolby Atmos, streaming services such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and many others offer the music in Dolby Atmos. Thousands of new titles and albums are released every week. And Dolby Atmos Music is from now on not only a topic for mobile and at home. Dolby Atmos Music for cars is already offered by manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Lucid and NIO. And there is a lot more to come.
2. Yes, we are already using AI solutions. Dolby Vision IQ in particular should be mentioned here. With added texture and depth, images take on a new dimension with astonishing crispness on both 4K & 8K TVs.
