DPA N-Series Digital Wireless System for U.S. Market

DPA Microphones has made its new N-Series Digital Wireless Microphone System available to customers in the United States.

The package includes a digital wideband receiver, handheld and bodypack transmitters, and the new 2024 Vocal Microphone built specifically for the N-Series.

Wideband Digital Platform for Live and Installed Applications

The N-Series is a fully digital, true diversity wideband system designed for live events, houses of worship, corporate environments, and fixed installations. It provides wideband operation across devices and supports various DPA microphones through industry-standard connections, making it suitable for rental companies seeking flexible inventory.

Performance in High-Density RF Environments

Operating in the 470–870 MHz range, each N-Series unit offers 400 MHz of tuning flexibility, ensuring access to available channels even in crowded RF conditions. The broad frequency support allows deployment in multiple regions despite ongoing global frequency reallocation.

Digital Architecture and Security Features

Built as a digital platform, the N-Series includes high-quality preamps, advanced A/D conversion, AES256 encryption, and true diversity for stable connections in challenging environments. These features support professional broadcast, corporate, and government use.

Software Control and Monitoring

The system includes the DPA Audio Controller, available for PC and Mac. The software provides remote monitoring, operational control, and a full-range frequency analyzer covering the entire 470–870 MHz spectrum.

Transmitter Options

The N-Series bodypack transmitters feature a rounded design and offer LEMO 3-pin or DPA MicroLock connectors, allowing compatibility with a variety of microphones. The handheld transmitters use the SL1 thread, compatible with multiple vocal cartridges, including DPA’s 2024 Vocal Microphone, 2028, d:facto™ 4018V, and 4018VL models.
