The company is pleased to announce the release of version 1.2.0 of its flagship speech restoration plugin, dxRevivePro.

This update introduces three new algorithms and is available for free to all dxRevivePro license owners. The new algorithms are exclusive to the Pro version and do not replace existing ones, ensuring full backward compatibility.
Two of the new algorithms are enhanced versions of the Studio and Natural algorithms. These updated versions provide more stable handling of a wider range of recordings. High-frequency noises can be removed more effectively, and the resynthesis of missing low frequencies is improved. Users are advised to double-check results using different versions in the algorithm selector window, as there may be instances where older versions yield more desirable outcomes. However, in most cases, Studio 3 or Natural 2 will be the preferred choice.
EQ Restore is a new addition to the existing algorithms. Unlike other algorithms, it does not aim to remove noise or reverb. Instead, it addresses spectral issues by applying EQ and spectral resynthesis if necessary. This approach preserves the natural ambiance while enhancing speech.
A key feature of EQ Restore is its ability to apply EQ solely to the speech without altering the frequencies of the underlying noise or ambiance. This selective approach is not possible with conventional EQ, which affects both speech and background components.
