The additions extend the AiO Series’ portfolio to include 1kW HR (high redundancy) and 2kW transmitters, addressing the medium power needs of broadcasters.
Enhanced Performance and Reliability
The new transmitters are designed to deliver superior performance and reliability. They feature dual hot-swappable power supply units (PSU), two fans, and two RF pallets. This redundancy ensures maximum on-air time by maintaining operations even if a component fails.
David Houzé, Ecreso Product Manager at WorldCast Systems, stated, “We are proud to extend the Ecreso FM AiO Series with these reliable, medium-power transmitters. These enhancements demonstrate our commitment to providing robust and efficient solutions for broadcasters.”
Availability and Testing
The new 1kW HR and 2kW models will be available for testing by the end of this year, with production shipments starting in the first quarter of 2025.
Software Update v3.3.0
Alongside the hardware upgrades, WorldCast Systems is releasing a new software version (v3.3.0) for the entire AiO Series range (100W-2kW). This version focuses on SFN applications with the integration of a built-in GPS receiver for internal clock references, as well as 10MHz and 1PPS outputs for peripheral equipment. Additionally, the APT IP Decoder has been updated to include APT SynchroStream technology for audio content synchronization over the network. A new backup mode, Hot Standby Mode, ensures continuous broadcast by automatically switching streams in case of connection loss.
Improved Management and Security
The AiO Series now supports the latest SNMP v3 revision, enhancing the security and management capabilities of FM transmitter fleets.
