EditShare Celebrates 20th Anniversary at CABSAT 2024

EditShare, a leading technology company in collaborative workflow solutions for the media industry, is marking its 20th anniversary alongside CABSAT’s 30th anniversary.

The company is showcasing its latest advancements in the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 21 to 23, aiming to introduce its cutting-edge solutions to the MENA region.

EFS NVMe: Boosting Media Storage

EditShare has enhanced its EFS media storage architecture with the addition of EFS NVMe, a high-performance, high-bandwidth solid-state technology. NVMe offers three times the throughput of previous generation SSD servers, making it ideal for demanding creative applications such as DPX, OpenEXR, and 4K/8K video. This technology is integrated within the EFS environment, which includes traditional servers, nearline storage, archives, and cloud solutions.

MediaSilo Enhancements

MediaSilo, a popular tool for sharing work in progress, now features improved review functionality. Users can benefit from side-by-side version comparisons and enhanced facilities for making, tracking, and acknowledging comments and sign-offs. To ensure secure sharing of review materials, MediaSilo incorporates visible and forensic watermarking, dynamically inserting customizable viewer information into files. This provides a secure yet efficient way to distribute assets such as scripts, casting shots, marketing materials, and content.

Screeners.com Upgrades

Screeners.com, widely used by major studios and production companies, has received significant upgrades. These include improved security, more branding customization options, and in-video logo watermarks. Reviewers will experience an enhanced OTT-style interface, with better content recommendations, watchlists, and expiry notifications.

Statements from Vincent Eade

Vincent Eade, RVP of Sales EMEA at EditShare, expressed enthusiasm about sharing these milestones with CABSAT. “Our goal has always been to empower creators by providing the storage and workflow tools they need, along with secure collaboration methods from ingest to screen,” Eade said. He emphasized the importance of CABSAT for having detailed industry conversations that inform EditShare’s development plans, ensuring the delivery of even better solutions in the future.
