EditShare, a leading technology company in collaborative workflow management from storyboard to screening, will showcase its solutions at BroadcastAsia 2024.
The company’s presentation will emphasize the creative, economic, and productive benefits of its unified content management approach, highlighting scalable and collaborative solutions for media across various platforms, including premises, cloud, and hybrid implementations.
Enhanced Media Storage Architecture
EditShare’s media storage architecture, EFS, now includes EFS NVMe, a high-performance, high-bandwidth solid-state technology. This addition significantly enhances throughput for demanding creative applications such as DPX, OpenEXR, 4k, and 8k, delivering speeds three times faster than previous generation SSD servers. EFS NVMe integrates seamlessly with the overall EFS environment, including traditional servers, nearline storage, archives, and cloud solutions.
Advanced Video Collaboration Platform
MediaSilo, EditShare’s video collaboration platform, now features enhanced review functionality, including side-by-side version comparisons and improved facilities for making, tracking, and acknowledging comments and sign-offs. To secure review material, MediaSilo incorporates visible and forensic video watermarking, as well as image and document watermarking, dynamically inserting customizable viewer information into files. This ensures secure distribution of all assets, including scripts, casting shots, and marketing materials.
Upgraded Press Screening Platform
Screeners.com, the preferred press screening platform for major studios and production companies, has also received security and functionality enhancements. These include more branding customization options and in-video logo watermarks. Reviewers will experience an improved OTT-style interface with better content recommendations, watchlists, and expiry notifications.
Commitment to Innovation and Security
Tara Montford, EVP Sales and Co-Founder at EditShare, stated, “Since EditShare’s foundation 20 years ago, our primary goal has been to provide creators with the tools they need to produce and deliver great content without being hindered by technology. This vision continues to drive our innovation today. We support open interworking with essential creative tools, offering a platform for comprehensive workflows from script to screen while ensuring robust security.”
